To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are collectively being asked to stay at home, and to cope with the sudden changes that have become part of a temporary way of living.<\/p>\n<p>Some people may find the experience of quarantine isolation, and the respite from living a fast paced life, to be extremely challenging. Others, however, view the break from the norm to be an opportunity to learn how to stay spiritually strong.<\/p>\n<p>During the Stress Awareness month of April, being open to finding positive ways in which you can benefit from having to take time out, from life as you previously lived it, can help you grow emotionally and spiritually.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Practice Self-Love<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>As a divine spiritual being in a human body, it\u2019s essential that you practice self-love on a daily basis, if you want to stay spiritually strong. Self-love involves loving all of the different aspects of yourself. This includes negative behaviors that can make you feel that you\u2019re unlovable.<\/p>\n<p>Love, respect and honour yourself by making time for you. If you\u2019ve never practiced self-love before, the easiest way to begin is via pampering. Love yourself by relaxing in a luxurious bubble bath, and nourishing your body with lotions and potions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Begin a daily self-love ritual that includes feasting on nutritious treats that boost your energy levels, listening to soothing and uplifting music whilst you chill, and exercising your mind by reading books that teach you something new.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Make Time For Meditation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In challenging times, it\u2019s a great idea to make meditation your happy place \u2013 and to visit it often. As little as 5-10 minutes of daily meditation practice can have a beneficial impact on your health and well-being. In your private spiritual space you can disconnect from external pressures and concerns, and relax and tune into your innate intuition.<\/p>\n<p>If you find it difficult to sit still for the duration, you can meditate in a way that is easier for you. Washing dirty dishes, ironing freshly cleaned laundry, or gardening with mindful focus, are alternative and practical meditation methods that can help you become spiritually strong.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Practice meditation every morning to help you remain balanced throughout the day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Feed Your Soul<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Now that shops are becoming restocked and panic buying has subsided, some people are choosing to use isolation as an opportunity to make positive dietary changes. To help you stay spiritually strong, it\u2019s important that you consume foods that have a higher vibration.<\/p>\n<p>If possible, eat organic produce. If this is not availableTap, choose nutritious healthy foods like fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts, legumes, soy and virgin olive oil. Try to avoid low vibe processed and junk foods, and limit your dairy, caffeine and sugar intake.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Feed your soul with food that lifts your mood, and increase the amount of water that you drink.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Help Others <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Just because you have to temporarily isolate yourself from other people, it doesn\u2019t mean that you have to disconnect completely. Social interaction via the internet or telephone (or even over the garden fence) is highly beneficial for maintaining a healthy mind.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you\u2019re feeling spiritually strong, help others who may be finding isolation extremely challenging. Reach out to people who are on their own and are feeling lonely. As a spiritually strong individual, you won\u2019t feel emotionally drained when offering support to others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Tap Into Your Inner Power<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Escape into your own space and tap into your inner power, by journaling. If you\u2019ve had a stressful day, put pen to paper and let your thoughts flood onto the page. As you go with the flow, and continue to automatically write, you will feel stress melt away.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When you\u2019re feeling spiritually strong, use the practice of journaling to give thanks for all of the blessings that you have in your life.
